From crafting your pitch to contacting potential investors, there’s a lot to keep track of when you’re raising funds for your startup idea.

Notion’s fundraising templates can help you build pitch decks, manage contact information for potential investors, keep track of meetings and their results, and much more. Below are some of the best ones you can use.

7 Notion Fundraising Templates

1) Fundraising Database

Fundraising Database

This Fundraising Database Notion template is designed to help you keep track of every interaction you have with potential investors.

It allows you to enter the names, titles, firms, and other key information about investors into a simple table. You can also expand each entry to add more detailed notes, such as background info or notes about what happened in a meeting, and create checklists for follow-up items.

Then, you can update the status of each potential investor based on the interactions you’ve had with them so far.

For example, if you have a meeting scheduled to pitch to an investor, you would set the status to “Meeting Planned.” Or, if an investor has already committed funds to your startup, you would change the status to “Closed.”

2) Fundraising Tracker

Fundraising Tracker

The Fundraising Tracker template for Notion is another template you can use to keep track of different data related to potential investors and the interactions you have with them.

This template provides spaces to enter investor names, descriptions, statuses, average funding amounts, funding provided, and more.

You have the option to view your investor database in either a table or a board, making it easy to find the information you’re looking for at a glance.

There are also investor subpages where you can add meeting notes, pitch prep notes, and notes about the next steps.

3) Startup Fundraising Template

This Startup Fundraising Template for Notion provides a whole toolbox of useful resources for new startup founders looking for funding.

For starters, there’s an investor board that lets you track interactions with potential investors in a sales pipeline-like board format. For each investor, you can add meeting notes, create to-do lists, and more.

Then there’s the pitch deck builder with built-in pitch deck slide templates. The handy builder lets you see at a glance which pitch deck slides are done and which need more work.

Once your pitch deck is done and you start presenting it, you can add pitch deck feedback you receive from investors to help you keep tweaking and improving your deck.

Other features of this template toolbox include a due diligence checklist, investor update templates, and an investor memo template.

4) Funding OS

Funding OS

The Funding OS Notion template works like a CRM for helping founders secure funding.

The template allows you to categorize fundraising into different rounds, such as Seed, Series A, and Series B rounds.

Then, within those categories, you can add different potential investors to a Kanban-style board and track where you’re at with acquiring funding from them.

For instance, you might create columns for Research, Contacted, Pitched, and Due Diligence.

As you have different interactions with different investors, you would pass their investor cards along to the corresponding columns.

There’s also an Upcoming Activities section where you can keep track of to-dos like meetings, calls, and more.

5) Data Room

Data Room

The Data Room Notion fundraising template provides you with a central location to store all relevant information that potential investors might want to see, such as documents, business metrics, market research, and other essential data.

This template includes the option to view your data in table, gallery, or list views.

You can share your Data Room with potential investors as you see fit, or use it for internal reference when you’re putting together pitch decks and other business materials.

6) Pitch Deck

Pitch Deck

Notion’s Pitch Deck Template lets you create an interactive Notion page as an alternative to a traditional template.

Investors can see an overview of your whole pitch presentation on the Notion page and choose what they want to read more about.

Within each page of your interactive pitch deck, you’re free to include text, images, and embedded content, just as you would in a traditional slideshow presentation.

The only difference between the Notion Pitch Deck Template and a traditional pitch deck is that busy investors can skip right ahead to reading what they’re most interested in.

You also have the option to include a competitor database that allows investors to see a high-level overview of where your product stacks up against your competition in terms of features.

7) YC Application

YC Application

This YC Application Template for Notion is designed specifically for startup founders who want to apply for funding from Y Combinator.

The template helps you plan your YC application, collaborate on it with others, and send your application to anyone you want for review and feedback.

Once you have a completed and polished application, make sure to submit it to Y Combinator before the deadline for their next funding cycle batch.

Wrapping Up

Notion provides a unified space where you can brainstorm ideas, plan your product, collaborate on tasks, and track your startup’s overall progress, including through the different stages of fundraising.

Whether you’re trying to secure startup funding for the first time, or you’ve been interacting with investors for a while, one of the Notion fundraising templates from above is sure to help you improve your odds of success and help you avoid letting anything slip through the cracks!
